Understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions and behaviours

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is one of the most effective and evidence-based forms of psychotherapy available for treating a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem.

CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours—particularly in stressful situations. In our sessions, we’ll use proven, research-backed techniques to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies to improve your emotional well-being and daily functioning.

My CBT approach is action-oriented and focused on real-time results, giving you practical tools that are both scientifically supported and highly relevant to your personal and professional life. By addressing the root of the issue, this method delivers faster, more meaningful, and longer-lasting change.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a powerful, evidence-based technique that promotes stress reduction, mental clarity, and behavioural change. It is especially effective when quick, focused management of internal responses—such as anxiety, fear, or habits—is needed.

Hypnotherapy can support a wide range of concerns, including anxiety relief, improved sleep, overcoming bedwetting, weight management, smoking cessation, and boosting confidence. It may also aid in reducing stress-related skin conditions and enhancing performance in areas like sports, academics, or public speaking. Hypnosis has also been shown to help with the perception and management of pain.

Contrary to common myths, hypnosis does not involve losing control. Instead, it’s a focused, relaxed state of awareness where your mind becomes more open to positive, therapeutic suggestions. During sessions, you remain fully in control—hypnotherapy is a collaborative process guided by your goals and motivation.

While entirely optional, integrating hypnotherapy with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or mindfulness practices has been shown to improve therapeutic outcomes and accelerate change.

Mindfulness for Stress, Anxiety and Emotional Balance

Mindfulness-based therapy is a science-backed, practical approach to managing stress, anxiety, and emotional overload. Grounded in both ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience, mindfulness techniques have been shown to improve focus, emotional regulation, and resilience in high-pressure situations.

Mindfulness helps create space between stimulus and response, allowing for greater clarity, self-awareness, and more thoughtful decision-making.

In our sessions, mindfulness techniques are introduced gradually and adapted to suit your pace and lifestyle. Whether you're facing a crisis, navigating a stressful work environment, or simply trying to manage everyday overwhelm, mindfulness can help you:

  • Reduce anxiety and overthinking

  • Improve concentration and mental clarity

  • Enhance emotional control and reduce reactivity

  • Build inner calm and confidence

  • Feel more grounded in the present moment
